I myself LOVE mythical creatures, and so does my family. We got together one day and decided to create a new sea creature. It's called the riatom,a water dwelling, smooth scaled cat-like creature that is extremely intelligent and is said to aid those who are lost at sea.PLEASE help this water cat become a true mythical creature! 14  out of 25 found this valuable. In order to be considered a true mythical creature it typically has to be associated to literature or folklore. Have you done any research to see if a creature like that has ever been mentioned before? You can always write your own story about it on the Stories and Fiction page at http://mythcreat.wetpaint.com/page/Stories+and+Fiction Do you find this valuable?

Magalodons are prehistoric creatures NOT mythical creatures. The have been proven, and are accepted to, have existed at some point even if they dont now. Saying they are mythical creatures are like saying T-rexs are mythical creatures because we hear about them but never see them. Look it up, i watched a documentry the other week of evolution and it had magalodons in it. And heres some sites.
www.wyrdology.com/cryptozoology/megalodon.html
www.elasmo-research.org/education/evolution/paleoecology.htm
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megalodon
(And that was from 1 google search)
