The problem with it being said that some would have been impossible to make in those times is that a lot f skulls have been made very recently by scammers who then try to sell them for large amounts of moneys, claiming they are authentic. There are a few skulls that were simply carved. I think that if they were sent from supernatural beings, then they would have a more perfect shape, but almost every skull has markings in them from the tools used to make them--chisels, diamond "sandpaper", etc. This leads me to believe that they were simply created by humans.
As for the alleged paranormal activity, it is possible that, if my theory is correct, the spirits of those royal members and/or other honoured people did use the skulls as a vessel to watch over the land and people. I don't believe the skulls were -created- by anything supernatural, but that doesn't mean they aren't being -used- by anything supernatural

I'm interested to find the origins of the werewolf myths, as there doesn't seem to be any reasonable explanations out there. The most common explanation at the moment seems to be that people who had Hypertrichosis weren't believed to be humans, but a human/wolf hybrid, but that just leaves too many giant holes in the myth to me :P Are there any other theories out there?

Were first read about in the famous novel Dracula by Brian Stocker (sorry if anything is spelled wrong) It was that story that led to many more Vampires were first to blood sucking killing machines ,and the only way to kill them is stake through the heat or cut there head off of set on fire also they can't tough crosses holly water , garlic and ather relion stuff.But as time past by his story was changed and new legand begun vampire started to change and become gentle creatures some even worship them but in all this time forgeting that they fictoinal charters in one mane story ,but if you do not agree with me then thats your bad cause I'am never going to change my ways

It's also possible that all these myths emerged from one or maybe a couple of animalistic serial killers. There have been many killers in the recent past that have an obsession with drinking blood, and if there were even one of these people about a few hundred years ago, it easily could have kicked up the myths of vampires.
For anyone who's interested, look up the story of Richard Chase, who was later nicknamed the Vampire of Sacremento, who killed many people and animals to drink their blood and eats parts of their organs. He believed that if he didn't drink blood, he would die.

yeah i agree good and bad is how you see it, and how the sitaution is, thinking being can chose between good or bad, unless it is there nature, so think being like man need a choice between good or bad, so god gave it to them with the fall. good didnt make vampire, but he made the means for the first man to become a vampire by creating lucifer so there was that option. :D am enjoying chatting to you mate

ok for my uni research project (college for you yanks :p) am looking at the Am Fear liath mor, which is a haunted mountain up in Scotland, am looking at this because it cover two of my biggest loves the outdoors ( am a climber, mountaineer, surfer, and a lot others lol) as a mythology, what it is, experience climbers will go up to this mountain and sometime just have a uncontrollable fear take over them, where they are running on top of the mountain with visibility down to about a foot, some see a 20 ft. "yeti" creature as well, but it never attacks it uses this fear to get people to run and jump of a certain part of the mountain, lurches crag, which is why i thin it could be a Wight because it’s a barrow creature and that would explain the fear, the manifestation of this 20 ft. yeti and the urge to jump of a certain part, it only ever happens at a certain area which would show the terroity aspect of a Wight, so what am asking is a fresh set of eyes on anything that i have missed? Any help would be awesome, thanks miles

1. biological creature, there has been report of somthing up on the moutain since the irish invaded scotland about 1000 years ago. nothing could live that long if it was biological, other way to back this up, when it be hurd to talk the langue it uses died out in scotland in the 13th centuray.
2.wight wok on someone life forces it follow the beating heart,
3. guide to a certain place (lurchers crag) wight is a barrow creature that crag is more then likly where it dead or was buried,
4. there is no advantage to the large body there nto a single report of the pysical attack some one, i think the large body to get the person scarid like a demon does, if you show fear they feed on it and get stronger.

Can poeple stop relating this creature to Trinity Blood. It's kind of annoying and I finally got an account so you will know whom I am. Vampires have predators too. Obviously the Black Angels are. it. The Black Angels don't have red eyes all the time just when they have there wings out. And they can make it to where you can't see them so you never know. But they are pretty rare. As God's intrusments to kill all the "Bad" vampires. But whom can classify a "Bad" vampire? You be judging someone and I don't do that unless the person is varily stupid. Cruxim's are "Lamia Venators" [Vampire Hunters]
