ok so here is a little short true story that i just want to put out there.
when i was 7 years old i was juist crawling into bed when i saw Lilith outside my window. she was like many exclaim her to be beautiful and has long red hair. that night when i was sleeping/dreaming i saw here in my dream and she was talking with my mother that's dead*i was adopted when i was five cause of that* and then they walked over to me and we talked about whats going to happen to me when im twelve*which is now* ever since then iv been seeing my birth mother every time i get hurt or when im upset.

if you want to call Lilith a myth your calling Adam and Eve a myth because they are all part of a religion. Adam and Eve are a part of judaism and christianity, in jewish beliefs Adam married Lilith, Lilith wanted women to be considered an equal to men but this was not allowed so she had an affair with Samael, which lead to her banishment, Samael's demotion, Lilith's convertion into a demon, and Adam's new wife, Eve.

I genuinely find myths about Lilith very interesting. I read one where Samael repented for his fornication with Lilith and God forgave him but as punishment castrated him and made him the Angel of Death.

Lilith thoughts
i wanted to know were this myth comes from, defently looks like one started as a brake off of Kabalah (if the artical is correct), ive herd that it may have some greek or Irish celtic origans, as one man said it takes a misqoute of the bible but more then that a blanted editing of it, it is also takes a mistaken veiw of Jewish and Christian theology. as obviously the man proponets of the religous following of this today belives that christian veiws and jewish veiws put women as a steping stone, rather then a help mate and partner as the bible puts it, men would have to be mistaken as dicators in Jewish and christian socity which is deeply backwords from what both groups belive or of what there bible teaches.

I've read, in more than one place, that Lilith didn't kill every child she saw. What I learned was that she was in fact fertile, but only ever had girls. All of her red-headed, green-eyed offspring had fair skin and were exponentially beautiful. She would go into homes in the night, steal and kill the babes from their cradles, and replace them with her own succubus children, sired by the husband of the home. She would only kill the male children though, she would never harm another woman, except for what she did to their husbands. When she left the men who sired her new demon daughters, they would become very ill. They wouldn't eat or drink, their skin would become pale and gray, and they would not dare touch their wives. They would pine for Lilith until their death, which sadly, was always very soon.

theory on multicelular organisms
a theory that combines darwinism with relegion says that the evolution of life created as many divitions of man as of animals of the earth. furthermore the lack of understanding to the biological structures of these beings led to myths and legends based on the structure and need of the organism. a certain worm known to science comes together to ovfrcome a bigger prey. whos to say a multicellular organism (human in appearence) doesnt wonder the earth getting its bloodfood from source. if while trying to emulate man or animal the chemical compulation of silver(or running water etc.) may disrupt the prosess.

So Lilith became a demon because she didn't want to be the gum under the shoe of Adam? She had the "mind-blowing" notion that she was actually equal to Adam and stood up for herself. Adam, of course, being the stellar man that he was couldn't accept her as an equal even though she physically WAS so she dropped him like a bad habit, rightfully so, and that's when all hell broke loose. All the little insecure, inept men got together and nervously fretted that other women might decide to get a shred of dignity and actually realize they were NOT less than, but equal to, so they quickly jumped to their parchment paper and wrote up an interesting little account of how this first women (created by GOD, from the earth, just like Adam) was now a cursed, evil "demon" who kills babies for no apparent reason (other than to scare women into submission of course). Oh, how I love biblical history and how they turn every disobedient or (gasp) independent woman into a prostitute or an effin demon. Long live religion! -B

I have been doing research into the Seven Deadly Sins and the Demons related to them, such as Lilith. when I came across this I was awestruck.
