THE BASILISK
if you are truly interested in monster hunting be warned basilisks are shape shifters have poison breath and at one glance you will die you need a mirror sword and shield and a gas mask won't hurt and weasels can't be hurt by them but be shure to stab it and collect the blood you can find them by following trails of split rocks, dead plants, and going where other reptiles won't go.

Get this..
I appreciate the advice, but i can handle them while standing up. Spider Demons, wont attack unless provoked. Even if they were to attack, stand in place and let it attack, its poison doesnt effect me. Try controlling a group of 12 without trying to control them. They will follow you if prove your worth. Kill a large animal drink its blood, and get up, for them to feed. These demons can be used to scout for other creatures, or recon areas undetected.

RE: Great myth...few corrections needed.
Venavores
I’m positive you've never heard of a Venavore. Venavores are like Vampires except for the fact that Venavores drink and feed on poisonous or venomous creatures. Venavores can manipulate and read the minds of humans, communicate with animals. Venavores have distinct features in their eyes, the most distinct being gray with a red ring around the pupil. When a Venavore’s eyes flash white it means they are manipulating someone’s mind. Venavores have what are called Portals; they toss them up in the air and shout out the name of where they want to go in Venivian (their language) and the portal takes them their. Venavores enemies are not humans like most monsters. Venavores are peaceful. When a Venavore is in true form it will look something like a dinosaur about the size of a Velociraptor. In human form they are very attractive. Venavores unlike Vampires are un-sterile to humans. When feeding in human form their teeth and nails will grow long and turn black. Venavores feeding claws are hollow and are used them as straws. They puncture their preys flesh with the index claw and stick the thumb claw in their mouth and suck the innards of the venomous or poisonous creature. Any type of water is deadly to a venavore it makes them boil and burn. They have to drink and take baths in acids that would be deadly to humans. Human food makes a Venavore terribly sick because they need venom or poison in each meal. Venavores do not need to sleep. Their urine is green and their tears and sweat is red. Thanks for learning about Venavores :D

Copying From SpiderWick!!!
The Cockatrice can cause death with a single glance. Reports indicate that anything catching sight of the lethal bird's eyes is turned instantly to stone. But just as deadly is their poisonous saliva, which can fell even an elephant.
Also known as a Basilisk, a Cockatrice has the head and feet of a cockerel and the tail of a serpent. The Cockatrice is believed to be the product of a seven-year-old cockerel's egg, laid during a full moon and then hatched for nine years by a serpent or toad.
There are a few ways to protect oneself from a Cockatrice. One is to carry something reflective - like a mirror - and turn the creature's gaze back on it. Another is to keep either a weasel or a cockerel nearby. The weasel is said to be the mortal enemy of the Cockatrice, while the crowing of the cockerel is even more effective as it causes the Cockatrice to have fatal fits and ultimately thrash itself to death. This guy copied from the SpiderWick Field Guide

Man-Eating Unicorns
I read a book called Rampant by Diana Peterfreund. About a sect of virgin girls who slay man-eating unicorns. Being a mythos buff. I searched in to the subject after reading the book.
And ancient peoples of India, Asia, Europe, and Germanic tribes believed that original unicorns ate people especially non-virgin women. That the horns or alicorn was highly poisonous and lethal. That's why unicorns were killed in the biblical flood.
That Alexander the Great's steed Baucephelus was actually a unicorn as big as an elephant that resembled a bull. That spoke to Alexander telepathically and came up with battle strategies and tactics. That without Baucephelus he wouldn't have conquered as much as he did.
What do you all think of this?
