When we came up with wagons, suddenly all of the Celtic fey had wagons with wheels of green flame, driven by skeletal horses and a gaunt driver. There has never been a time when our supernatural creatures haven't been placed within contemporary settings compared to modern societies.

All right. So upon making this page I did have information to post along with it. However when it came time to post said information I found I could not. The EasyEdit simply wouldn't allow it much to my aggravation. Now I don't like to think of myself as a quitter but after many failed attempts I will simply post the information here and hopefully someone who can EasyEdit the page will take pity.
A salamander is both a mythical and real creature. The name'salamander'derived from the greek term loosely meaning'fire lizard'The real animal being an amphibian, and the mythical a fire dwelling lizard.Due to the nature of this site lets focus on the mythical shall we?
Salamanders have been said to be able to both create and put out flames, and in some cases are fire themselves. However in some stories they are merely fire resistant. In faery legend salamanders are credited with having taught the first humans how to make fire; however there have also been versions of their origin saying they are composed by glass blowers who kept their furnaces stoked for several days and nights. They are often described as small lizards, but have also been know to be depicted small glowing lights, and on rare occasion traditional faery like humanoid beings.
The most likely base for their legend is the real life salamanders whom are known to sleep and hibernate among logs that were then picked up and used to fuel fires. As a result of being tossed into a roaring inferno they would wake up and scamper out of the fire. To the unknowing camper they would seemingly appear from the flames. Don't worry, salamanders are known for their abnormally cool exterior and are able to withstand a short stint in your fireplace.

The Coming Battle
It depends on your view on such an event. Personally, i believe that if a entity of such cosmic creative and destructive powers, conjured only by mere thoughts, of which "God" has, then such a being as this Satan could do nothing to hinder him, in any sense. It only really seems to be Christianity which believes Satan is evil, perhaps Islam. The original origins of both stems from Judaism, which believe Angels to have no will of their own, they are the extensions of God, indeed Muslims believe this too, thus an Angel can not rebel or betray that which it is and is bound to. In the Jewish bible, Satan is what they call an Accuser Angel, and there are many, not just him, these Angels have the duty to watch mankind and point out any flaws or evil intentions to God, not to actually spread such intentions. Also, the belief of Satan ruling Hell is nonsense and really just seems to have been made up for no real reason, in mythology. Hell is supposed to have the power to destroy souls, not imprison them, nowhere does it say Satan was cast to hell, he was thrown to earth, even in the Christian bible, he is given a certain amount of time to do whatever, before "God" simply destroys him with a mere thought, according to the Christian Bible that is. Muslims believe that Satan was never an Angel, rather a Djinn, born of flame and rage who would not bow before man, who was born of earth and thus inferior, again he will be instantly destroyed, literally ceasing to exist. And the jews don't believe he is that evil, yes he points out flaws but he is an Angel and thus cannot turn upon the very heart of creation. I like the Kabbalah view on God, that both good and evil stem from God and it is up to man to decide how to live their lives, regardless of how we live it, we return to God, because everything comes from God and thus can go nowhere else.

A Good Book about The End of the World
Gomorrah was one of four cities purged as by brimstone and flame in the Old Testament. Apparently they were so Sinful that this needed to happen, so for those reasons alone, imagine just how sinful they must've been?! If todays world isn't sinful enough to have several cities wiped out, they must have been some sinful folks back then.

Mythology of creatures born or created from fire
Hi folks... Rattling around in the neuroplastic memory of my brain is the thought that there are goddesses & other creaturers that mystically
emerge from fire.( quite different from the classical Phoenix) The rattling around the Web has not produced info. other than the rattle that
the Japanese Konji symbol for "Ka" ( female power & passion & fire in general ) looks like a rampant Praying Mantis....which, in turn,
seems to activate a long inactive neural network showing a Mantis surrounded, not unhappily, by the flames of fire.
I'd be most grateful for information re the Mantis & its relation to fire as well as any other "beings" .....Gods or not...so related.

Okay, now to what I would say normally:
I have perfected the art of "M Shifting," but for some reason whenever I do it everybody looks at me funny. Like this one time, at WalMart, I was angry at this guy, so I M-Shifted into a T-Rex and charged him, snarling around with my arms in my tee-shirt. For some reason, though, he wasn't scared. All he did was laugh. I tore his face off in my head, though. That'll show him.

Indeed, you are correct. No such thing is ever spoken of, for no one believed it happened. Firstly, Satan, has nowhere near enough power to invade the domain of his creator, if you follow the stories of the bible and indeed in revelations. I, at least, came to see that Satan, had shown some small amount of sorrow, for turning against Heaven. I do not own a bible, so i cannot truly quote it, but someone asks the fallen star, who is named Lucifer and Satan, something and he tells them that once he sat at the right hand side of God, his father, and speaks to them of his arrogance and how he fell from the heavens to wander earth. I'm unsure, where everyone gets these strange ideas from, that Satan has the power to form hosts of monsters, for when God cast him and his fallen Angels from heaven, they were not sent to Hell. Hell is not the kingdom of Satan, rather it appears as some sort of extension of God, no one rules inside, the very first depictions of hell were not even of demon infested layers of flames and torment. There was one thing i read somewhere, that Hell was barred from the inside, not to stop souls from escaping, but from stop souls from entering. Also, put it in context for a moment. If God, is the creator of all that is, all that was and all that ever shall and can be, then nothing at all can harm it or it's domain. Additionally, the term 'Light' and the term 'Darkness' do not refer to the dawning of the sun and it's fall, i believe they are terms of symbolism, which refer to those of faith and those without, or who are forsaken. I could be wrong, for a lot of Angel, Demon the fall and God are detailed in ancient Jewish texts, rather than the Christian bible, which are preoccupied with Christ than of the actual God who is the apparent heart of everything.
In the Hebrew bible, Satan is not evil at all. He holds the title of 'Accuser Angel'.
