There are three types of zombie today. Each one can have verying traits, but all three are distinguishable.
The first and easiest to recognize is the solanum zombie. This is the zombie seen in Night of the Living Dead (the very first zombie movie) and is seen in Shawn of the Dead. Solanum zombies are slow, moan in a low tone, and will only chase a victim as much as they can see it. (always remember of course these traits can vary, but slowness always remains) The second zombie is the Rage zombie. These are not technically dead, but have been infected to become extremely angry. When rage zombies see a victim, they will chase the person down until they catch the person or have been killed. The third zombie is T-Virus ( the zombies dont have to be cOntrolled by a virus, it is simply the given name) the T-Virus zombie has the ability to mutate its body/ or has been mutated to fit a desired role. ( think residen evil) Note that each form of zombie has different weaknesses and strengths, and you must never underestimate what they can do.

Daniel 12:2 There are many who are dead and buried. Some of them will wake up and live forever, but others will wake up to shame and disgrace forever. This verse says that He will awaken All the dead and raise up the dead in Christ, thus the awakened dead that were not raised upto Heaven are still on earth and awake. I cannot seem to get out of my mind how many times Hollywood has profited on movies about the walking dead...

I would have to disagree with the singular belief that all Walking Dead are rooted back to the African tradition of Voodoo. They are not the first Living Dead to be recorded and neither are they the first Living Dead to be created.
If we look at the history of the Walking Dead, and the practises in which to command the dead, we may see that it's roots do not always go back to Africa, indeed their or far older traditions that lie in the East, such as in China and the Middle-Eastern Arabian Lands. The practise of raising the walking dead can also be found in ancient Greece, non of the rituals or tales are similar to those of Voodoo. The point i am trying to get at is, one nation is not the sole source and origin of a worldwide belief, a belief that has haunted humanity for thousands upon thousands of years. The idea of the living dead was born of mans fear of Death, of being around their fallen kith and kin, the often grotesque transformation the flesh undertakes during decay and the belief in a here-after. We can assume since it is proven that not all of humanity stemmed from Africa, though it is believed to be the cradle of humanity, it is also proven that other humans existed far beyond Africa in distant lands, All of these humans have feared the grave since earliest times, the profession of a spirit seer is probably the oldest profession on Earth. Due to man's desire to know what awaits beyond, and in ancient times, how to defend against the unseen. In the Celtic Lands, the earliest forms of the Walking Corpses were not evil in any sense. They came back from their graves to help their fellow living families and clans, or to spend a night with their loved ones before returning to their graves. The Christian Church manipulated many of the ancient beliefs surrounding the Living Dead, turning them into monsters to be feared. The oldest religion on Earth is the worship of Ancestors/reverence for the dead |

Yeah. Brazil is a damn big country and Amazon Forest is just a small part of it. Stop thinking all brazilians live in the jungle. We don't have voodoo or zombies here. Just in the movies...yes we have tv, movie theathers, computers and of course internet. We are civilized by the way. By Hanne Neuner.

Hey there are not zombies or rituals to 'create' or turn living humans into Zombies in Brazil. I don't know who told you so, but don't forget it, they're wrong. Brazil is not a big jungle like stupid dumbass jerks say. It's a big developed country.

I'm sorry but I did a project on Brazil and they actually have great respect for their dead although the Native tribes think that the forests are sacred places and if they let their dieing die there they will become one with nature although in ancient times if they died in battle they would take their warriors bodies to the forests.

So it would seem the "Real Zombie" should be able to be taken out with any conventional method of killing a normally living human being. Instead of the "UNDEAD" as they have been called it would seem they are simply a human being, being controlled and manipulated into what the so called "Sorcerer" wants them to be. I must say I found this to be extremely informational and appealing to me for zombies have always been on of my favorite mythical or myth creatures.
