Yokai that take on the power of the elements themselves. Only one of each are known to exist (mythologically speaking) :

• Nurikabe - Physical manifestations of darkness said to haunt roads. When you come into contact with one, you feel tired and unable to move. It is often portrayed as a brick wall. (See Other Transformations)
  
• Yuki-Onna - Reveals herself as a beautiful maiden wearing all white, or with white skin. Wherever she walks, she doesn't leave behind any footprints (some say she has no feet). She appears during snowy nights or during the full moon, and manifests as a white vapour that blows through the cracks of the door. She sucks the life out of sleepers through her breath, giving the impression that they froze to death.
• Yama-Ubi - Resides in the mountains and is often mistaken for a witch, in which form she lassos children with her hair to eat later. She is seen as a sort of supernatural mother in cases.
