YetiThis is a featured page

The Yeti (a.k.a. the Abominable Snowman), is an ape-like beast that resides in the Himalayan region of Nepal and Tibet. Meh-Teh is another commonly used name by the people indigenous to the region.

In the scientific community, the Yeti is largely considered to be a legend because of the lack of evidence of its existence. However, it remains one of the most famous creatures of cryptozoology. It is sort of like a parallel to Bigfoot.

Misidentification of Himalayan wildlife is one of the possible explanations for the Yeti. One of the animals listed is the Chu-Teh, a Langur monkey that lives at lower altitudes. Others are known as the Tibetan Blue Bea, the Himalayan Brown Bear, or Dzu-Teh, also known as the Himalayan Red Bear.

Yeti are the human hallucination when they're up in the mountains and they have hypothermia. HOnestly, if yetis existed, there would be a lot more sightings and we would have found a legit one by now.
