XolotlThis is a featured page

A horrible Underworld dog of Mexican mythology. His legs and feet are backward, and he can swivel his ears in any direction.

Every evening he catches the sun,and drags it down to the Underworld, where he dwells.

Quite frankly, yes, it is a type of hellhound. Though according to mexican mythology, it is a special hellhound. Look it up. Xolotl is the hellhound's name, and it is related(?) to Cerberus, or to the greek mythology of Cerberus's job. Like Cerberus, Xolotl works like a hellhound, though mexican mythology says that Xolotl catches the sun, and releases it once it is done doing whatever.
Yes, there are many hellhounds. This is a hellhound. But it is not just one of those hounds who sit under your bed and plot your demise, it has a purpose. Kthxbai. :3
