Western AstrologyThis is a featured page

Western Astrology, just like Chinese Astrology, is an ancient art that uses the time of a persons birth (year, month, day, time) to determine the person's personality traits, lifestyle, health, careers, and compatibility with others. This form of astronomy was inspired by Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos which dates back to the 2nd century AD. Western Astrology's main focus is the alignment of the planets and stars. The names originally stem from Latin however over time, they have been shortened.

Aerce7 Ophiuchus? 8 Mar 17 2015, 8:22 PM EDT by Joshua.D.Elswick

While looking at this page i just started to wonder about whether or not 1) Ophiuchus should be added 2) Each of the astrological signs should get their own description page linked to their name(plus some of them don't have pages or aren't under the Western astrology tab) and 3) tropical and solar sign dates should maybe be added to show the difference? Also 4) What about cusp descriptions? Dates aren't necessary since they don't seem to be too accurate and the good pages i've visited/read up on differ with cusp dates, but they may still be good to add. Just curious since there is already a western astrology page lol(Never looked into Eastern astrology but they might have similar things to add, not sure though) :o
