The Haunt

The Haunt, a mythological creature of the dark, lives in caves deep in the mountains. Haunts resemble wolves in appearance (although with slight differences). They are grey-black in colour with dark coats of fur. The males have a deep set of blood-red glowing eyes, while the females have fairly dark-blue eyes. Their piercing claws, are like sharpened steel, and their teeth, like the poisonous fangs of the Mexican Hooknose. Their saliva is poisonous/venomous/toxic/corrosive, whatever you may want to call it, for its effect is indescribable.

The Haunts are creatures that can live for days with little food and water. Every full moon, the males come down into the nearby towns and cities to hunt, their prey, being us - the timid and defenseless human race.

The Haunt
These creatures of the darkness come down from the mountain,
Hunting for prey,
For they need to feed I hear them growling,
Scratching at the door,
With their powerful legs they chase you till death,
And a powerful jaw crushes your bones,
Fangs and claws drip with a poison touch,
They hide in the darkness,
Ebony fur As black as night,
Eyes as Red as fire,
They lurk the streets,
And stalk the lost But then dawn breaks and the sun rises,
They bound to the distance, back to the caves.

Poems do not actually rhyme. It is a form of "technique". There are many techniques used in poetry; alliteration. Teachers tell you that poems rhyme because they are required to before literature and the VCE years. Furthermore; what are you? Ten years old? Go read a REAL poem. They don't rhyme. If a poem rhymes it's usually because they suck at writing and they know it, so they fulfil a stereotype and make it seem like they put effort into it.
Go read war poetry. Read a poem called "Dulce et Decorum pro Patria Mori". Does it ******* rhyme? No. He wrote this poem while being shot in WW1. Is it ******* meaningful? Yes. It is one of the most renowned poems in the world? Yes. DOES IT ******* RHYME? NO. Go read a real ******* book. Grow up, get a life, read a book. No not a picture-story book. A real book.
Talk to me when you're at least over eight years old.

When I was like 5 or 6, something like that age I expirenced a ghost haunting. It was a stormy Saturday night at 12:00 AM and everybody was sleeping, everybody except me. I was sitting in my room reading a book when all of the sudden the light was flickering on and off I didn't know what to do but go hide in my closet. As I shut the door I felt a tap on my shoulder, it was like Jack Frost was in the closet with me. I was so scared I ran into the bathroom and hid by the toilet. I started to cry and I was freaking out, I know this is long but I need your time so I can explain it. Here are some ways to protect yourself, 1. Get garlic powder sprinkle it around you house inside and out 2. Glue smashed garlic to paper and hang it on your door. The reason there is a lot of garlic is because ghosts and ghouls hate garlic. Thank you for your time. -Iron Warrior-

haunts aren't only limited to the form of a wolve they are also able to shape shift into the form of anything they come into contact with,so they can kill others under disguise and also they can hide except for their eyes in darkness, and memo: there eyes copy their natures evil is red and dark mixtures while good is light colors so no they dont have pacific eye colors p.s plus they arent only limited to mountains they are only limited to light[they cant be exposed to light because their bodies are like shadows tring to avoid sun light at all cost]dangers fact they can hide in any shadow
