As some of you may know, Elves are one whole race (yes Night Elves too) but some parts of the Elves have fought each other. Yes, Elves can have anger issues too (sorry Elven fans I like Elves too). So when Elves fight each other A LOT..... then they become separated into three groups: High Elves, Dark Elves, and Wood Elves. The Night Elves are just their own group and wanted to be unique and more different than the original Elves. But theres another three groups called the High Elves, Dark Elves, and Wood Elves. The Dark Elves (or Druchii as they refer to themselves) worship their god Khaine, or the Elven God of War. The High Elves (or Asur as they refer to themselves) worship Asuryan, or the Elven God of Creation. The Wood Elves (or Asrai as they refer themselves) worship both gods. But I'll talk about Wood Elves in another page later. The Dark and High Elves have been at war for many years. Dark Elves are led by the son of Aenarion, Malekith. Aenarion protected the Elves from a horde of evil long ago and has been called Aenarion the Defender or Phoenix King Aenarion. The High Elves followed the new Phoenix King named Finubar. The Phoenix King was the supreme ruler of all Elves. Malekith had been fighting for his rightful place on the Phoenix Throne. But Finubar had help from the dwarves and humans. Malekith was therefore powerless with only his army of Dark Elves. So Malekith made an alliance with the ferocious orcs (or some may call the Greenskins) and the remaining humans that didn't support Finubar (or otherwise called the People of Chaos). Malekith and Finubar were evenly matched, and their bloody wars raged on. Long ago before the coronation of Finubar, an Elven Oracle had predicted that Malekith would never marry. And this was too sad and too true. The Dark Elf King never found a wife, so he was lonely and his only occupation was fighting for the Dark Elves. But Finubar wasn't so different. He too wasn't married. Oh, yes even the mighty Phoenix King didn't have a beautiful woman. Malekith's mother, Queen Morathi, supports her son greatly. Morathi, wife of Aenarion the Defender, would wrether kill a whole army of Elves then watch her son die.
