There is some truth to "Slender Man." The dark spiritual side has planted this idea in the minds of the person(s) starting online rumor, but also in the minds of the writers/creators on Buffey The Vampire Slayer -or- they are pretending it's a joke or FX. From my experience (1982), you will not see this creature, demon, whatever it's called, with the nake-eye. It involves illness, entry through the human mouth (don't know why?), and I don't believe it a respector of age. F.Y.I......the Buffey version looks malicious (for ratings), the real thing is scary in a strange way. Very slender, dark suit (no tie!), long thin limbs, long skinny fingers, walks low to ground and stands abnormally tall. Long white stringy hair, long facial features. All body movement produces.....hate to say it, but a dry-bone sound, kind of dry wood sound. Almost spider like limbs. Had a dream/vision (?) and was told that it wanted to "get inside me". Instinctively, I knew to keep my mouth shut. All I can say is that I experienced this, and about 15 years later I see something very very similar on Buffey - total shock for me, but it cemented my understanding that there is a heaven and hell.
