Ahhhh.... Orcs, well here is the basics:
Orcs are originally an invention of Mr. Tolkien that showed up in his books of "The Hobbit" and the trilogy of "The Lord of the Rings", and, as such, they are more of a fictional and artificial mythical creatures rather than an original mythical creature. Basically they are a race of subterranean dwellers with a compulsion to destroy and as fierce in battle as they are stony-hearted (meaning: Very fierce). They are supposedly slightly shorter than humans, but powerfully built. Their apparence is described as ugly and repulsive, with deformed bodies and bow legs (imagine an ugly big-foot, thats smaller than a human, hairless, and has the face of a goblin or gargoyle).
Filthy, vile, and degraded, Tolkien's orcs are servile warriors with canibalistic appetites who provide a battle fodder for the evil lords of Modor. You could say they are simply hate-objects. Even goblins seem to be naunced un comparision to them. Further more, the Orcs seem to have some basic low level inteligense, seeing as they are able of some basic communication and the use of weapons.
