I saw this same exhibition in Sydney Australia in Jan. 2010 at the Maritime Museum, I didn't realise it had travelled around the world, really enjoyed the models, would have loved to take the dragon home with me!

I would love to have visited the museum. It reminds me in ways of the supposed discoveries found by such men as Bernard Heuvelman and Ivan T Sanderson, which were very striking, even for hoaxes, which I am sure 90% of them were. Gigantopithecus, model or not, is terrifying to behold. How ancient civilizations could share their lives with such giant apes and sloths and bears is a miracle in and of its self.
