A Basic IRC Tutorial
When you click on the picture, you will be presented with a form you need to fill out to access the chat. This form is made up of:Nickname:
Channels:
*Little box that says "Auth to Services"*
Captcha:
When you fill out this form, you should use your Mythical Creatures username, or something similar, as your nickname (For example, my username is
X-WolfHunter, and my IRC nickname is QuantumWolf). In the Channels box, type in what's in the parentheses (#MythicalCreatures). Obviously, do not include the parenthesis. Where it says "Auth to Services," if you have a registered nickname (More information on which can be found below) you can click on the box and type in your nickname and password to identify yourself to the IRC server. If you are a channel OP, it is necessary that you do so if you wish to be able to use your OP powers.
It is strongly recommended that you register a nickname on the IRC if you haven’t already. This prevents anyone from stealing your nickname andalso makes it easier for us to ban you :) (Not really with the "ease of ban" thing)

/msg NickServ register desiredpassword youremail
Once you’ve typed that in (Right into the spot where you would type regular messages) go to your email and click on the proffered link to completethe registration process.
A couple of useful resources for commands and the general workings of the IRC:
One thing you should learn is how to use the MemoServ commands (Found in the “Commands” link). They are very useful in making sure someonegets a message. What it does is sends a “memo” to the desired username, even if the owner of the username is not online, notifying them of it the next time they log in.

Does anybody know what exactly a Kanima is? I saw it on a show called Teen Wolf. Supposedly its technically a werewolf or something but until it gets revenge or somthing like that it wont be a wolf. And it seeks a master?.. Anyone know anything about it?!

so as i have grown up iv been able to see spirits i guess the right form you would say, i'm now 21 and have had my share of creepy things but the first most creepiest that scared me to ever happen to me was this yrs. I was sleeping next to my bf and then i felt maybe form of abduction but what i don't know all i remember is seeing really bright lights and some orangish /yellowish creature that had arms and legs like a human muscular type body but not built or looking like in anyway really ... i think i wanted to leave because it was holding my arms just above my wrist and i could feel it,it was saying something but i cant remember what exactly but i remember saying no and shortly after i was in my bed which is confusing to because for one i dont mem it was like i was just there out of no where and my eyes were open i gasped for air for w.e reason don't know from shock or w.e but i had still felt the grip on my arms where i was held and was holding them out still cuz they had hurt i cried after from fear of w.e was. does anyone have answers for me on what happened and what this creature may be ?

wizards, sages, sorcerers, etc.
I am writing a work of fiction but I'd like to base some of it on fact. I tried emailing someone who sounded like an expert but never heard back from him. What is the difference between a witch, warlock and wizard? Can a man-witch be referred to a warlock without it having a negative connotation? Are there any naturally born witches/warlocks/wizards, etc., born with powers, or is all magic taught/learned? Can a witch bind her children's powers until later in life? |
