I remember one time when I was a very small girl, probably around five to seven, somewhere there, I saw my first and only UFO. I was out on the porch with my grandma, and it was nighttime. She was having her nightly smoke, and I was petting her dog and keeping her company. I saw something up in the sky and looked up, thinking it was a typical plane or helicopter. However, the shape wasn't anything like either of those. It was shaped like a side-ways teardrop, and the colour was very pale orange. My grandma spoke to me, asking " What is that?" to which I responded that I didn't know. We watched the strange object slowly advance across the sky, until it finally disappeared when it went behind the treeline. The next day, it was in the newspapers, and no one knew what it was! That got me interested in UFOs and other, unexplainable phenomena. I still don't know what I saw, I just know it was awesome.

When I was a little girl around 11 yrs old, I saw a flying saucer. It had multi colored lights in rectangular windows that went round, and a beam that came out from underneith. My uncle (who is a preacher) and all his 7 children (who were out in their yard playing) saw it the same night. We all saw it apx minutes of each other even though we were an hours drive apart from each other. It hovered over the tree's then zipped away like lightening. I saw what looked like military planes heading toward it before it took off almost faster than you could blink an eye. Either we have life elsewhere or the military has alot of inventions they keep secret!

When i was younger me my mom and 2 brothers where walking in the woods when we seen a man near a green electric box he turned looked at us then flew strait into the air was very tall like 7 feet tall and had wings that u could not see till he flew

no one knows if the mothman is real or not but if they prove the mothman is a hoax the mothman would be a great tale to tell to you grand children but if it's real the mothman would be great city atraction when it's in a cage

I bet that place has a strong counterpoint in a different reality, or perhaps its just soaked with magic. I bet several faeries and halfers live there, not to mention witches, sorcerers, etc. I bet it's a popular place for magical beings to stop by.

I totally agree with this "its a hoax" stuff, maybe the curse was that the ppl would suffer mental disorders because of the "corncrops curse". Does anyone else here me out???? Or support this disision?????

Nov. 1 2010 about 9:00pm this huge giant black bird, bat like creature flew like 15 feet inbetween the two houses.. when i seen it it was pushing back the wings rothe body this thing was between 7 to 12 feet long moving fast.. this is in Cleveland, Ohio

Hey i do agree on being a real creature, i think it might be a creature that has always existed but its very rare or it might be a government experiment wich explains all those weird men in black bothering people, but who knows, i just hope we can get a clear picture of it soon even though there is some videos on youtube but they might be fake.

Hey, I'm doing some research on the mothman sightings world wide to try and find some kind of commonality to the sightings. (other than the disasters) my theory is that there is something else at play here, there has got to be. Almost every eye witness account of the first person in any given area to see it (that I've come across) seem to have a similar story: they see it the first time remarkably close up, then a few more times from a distance, and then finally right outside they're residence. Ms.Scarberry claims that the thing could have hurt her numerous times if had wanted to, but didn't, She among others even think it was trying to communicate with them, which in it's self is astonishing and unheard of with any cryptic sighting ever recorded. My hope is to uncover enough info so that I can track it, and hopefully find the commonality of the first sightings in an area so that I can predict the next area it will visit to make an attempt at communication. What has been stopping these witnesses from doing so is fear of the unknown, which is understandable, but I think if it wanted to hurt us it would have done so. and as far as the disaster sightings...I think it's trying to stop them. My theory is: it's an alien being, and it has a sort of intuition about these things. The "fact" backing my theory is an obscure photo sent to me by the son of a NASA astronomical and paranormal researcher, (which he copied from his fathers laptop apparently) of a figure underneath one of the planes that hit the trade center. the photo is very distant but the figure is positioned in a way that it seems as though he is holding the plane up, or pushing against it. Obviously the photo may be a fake, but there are about 18 other unrelated photos floating around on the internet of a flying figure around the towers in the aftermath of 9/11. Take from my comments what you will, but I am very serious about all of this.

My name is corey. I live in leon west virginia I have heard about the mothman most of my life. Leon is a small town and I went to middle school and high school in point pleasent. However I am not the type of person who believes in the mothman. I am the type of person who has to see it to believe it. I am 25 years old now I went to college in lima ohio. I graduated top of my class and am now a diesel technician I work on onboard computer control systems on mack volvo and kenworth semi trucks. A year ago I decided to move closer to my work place in Huntington wv and roomated with an old friend however my parents still lived in leon. Well last summer I decided to come to my mother and fathers house and help my father hang a garage door. I stayed till about 11:30 then decided to head back to my apartment. I came up 62 to the buffalo bridge and got on the old 35 road to where the BP truck stop was and I proceded to take the 5 and 20 road I traveled about six miles out that road it was then midnight in the summer and a clear night out. The road at where i was at a hill side with a bunch of trees to my right and an open grassy field and a creek to my left. I came around a curve I was driving about 40 mph. Then it happened there was a creature it crossed in front of my windshield about 2 feet above my windshield I was driving a 2002 cavalier. The creature seemed to glide on the air and was very black and seemed to be hard to make out it was very fast. However I do know this was the mothman due to its eyes. The eyes where not reflecting light the eyes had like a red light effect generating from the eyes the creature baiscally went across my hood about three or four feet above my hood and the light of the eyes seemed to be iminating from the creature. Once it went past my windshield I slowed down and rolled down the window and the creature was gone it didnt land in the field or anything. This was not eye tricks or plane lights. this was real.

Well listen people MothMan isn't real. After you watch a T.V show or Movies that mentioned MothMan people keep thinking they see it, but it's not real. Everyone who wants to be recognized always think they see it. Other people don't belive in it, I dont belive in it. Im not saying people is crazy but they (MothMan) isn't real. Or another reason is that you do see red lights flying around, it might be airplanes flying in the sky. You will think the airplanes lights are much closer then you see. My eyes have weird things happens to me, like after I watch a movie with fake creatures my brain thinks I see the creatures, but then mothman isn't real. Well I want you people to understand MothMan isn't real, but I understand what you thinks you see. Im sorry if I said anything that makes people feel uncomfortable.
