Are you talking about Janus? The god of beginnings and doors? The one that has two faces, one in front, one in the back. more information on him can be found at http://www.mythencyclopedia.com/Iz-Le/Janus.htm. I've sometimes see him called Jan for short or associated with the word at least. If not, is there any other information that could be given other than a name? If you know nothing other than its name, then how do you know there is something called a Jan? If you gave more information, just a smidgen, perhaps that it's a creature of... Greek Mythology? Irish folktale? people would be able to help find a definition for it easier.

That would be a good idea, the page they created, seems totally devoid of information, and i, nor anyone else can find anything which is of use to add to it.
