My girlfriend and I believe that we have a Hellhound protecting us somehow. She can feel it laying down beside her when I'm not there, and I am the only male that can get within about a metre of her when she is in her room. We've spoken to a couple people about this that know about such things, and they all seem to think that it was somehow displaced or exiled for whatever reason. And this thing has marked us both with scratches in our sleep that shouldn't have scarred but did. Has anybody ever heard of a Hellhound either protecting someone, or of a hellhound being exiled or displaced before?

The other night my mom saw a what she thinks is a hellhound jump off my grandma's bed late at night and walk into the bathroom. She described it as a black skeleton of a dog. My grandma has been pretty sick lately, but seems to be getting better finally. Can anyone tell me if what my mom saw was a hellhound or what it was?? We did a ghost hunt at the house a few weeks ago and got some pretty scary stuff both in pictures and as EVPs. In one pic we caught what look like glowing green eyes from my grandma's bedroom. I just wanna know what the heck is hanging around her bedroom and if it'll harm her.

hi i have seen something that i'm pretty sure is a hellhound of some sort and have no idea if it is a bad thing or not. while i was 7months pregnant with my son, i was going to the bathroom and i turned my head to see a large dog that stood about 4 and a half feet at the shoulders. he was solid black, had huge teeth, was foaming at the mouth, red eyes, black hair that was about 4 inches long and looked like it was matted with grease. he looked like a mix between a wolf and a german shephard. it came up to me, stared me in the eyes for over a minute then turned around walked out of the bathroom and disappeared. i saw the same dog when i was 4 months pregnant with my daughter only this time it seemed to smile at me (if they can smile) then it turned and left again. now anytime i am in a dark room i see him and anytime i am driving my car at night i see him it takes a lot of concentration to not swerve and crash. when i am driving he is running down the road towards me and then runs up onto the hood of my car all the while staring me in the eyes then disappears. my (now 2 year old) son sees him too. when i see the dog jj starts screaming like someone is killing him and falls on the floor shaking in fear. after the dog leaves jj climbs in my lap and will repeatedly say "bad doggy, bad doggy" so i know i'm not crazy if my son who is 2 can see the thing too.so my questions are, is this thing trying to kill me or what is going on? what is this thing, and is it capable of causing harm to my son? how do i make this thing go away? i really need help so any info at all would be appreciated. thnx

Well this might not sound true to many but i honestly saw a hellhound, I am not an idiot and i could see that it was not a regular black dog. One day i went up to some hills at night with some friends to hang out and i saw this dark pitch-black dog looking creature standing a couple of yards away, it had red glowing eyes that can not be possible for any normal dog. as soon as it saw me it just vanished. Me and my friends got scared and we ran because we knew what we just saw. I got a clear view of it and i could bet my life that it was a hellhound.

wow this creatures are so powerful and on HARRY POTTER they had CERBERUS but they called him FLUFFY. He looked like was a Big Three-Headed Blue-Nosed Pit

I seen the thing before, when I was like 5 but I thought it was someones dog who got lost, me and my best friend put up lost posters. About 3 hours later my friends dad came to pick him up, when he was leaving it walked up and said: "I am not lost, I don't belong to anyone." then it turned and left.My friend heard it to.Yet his dad failed to see it even though he was looking at me. Now I see it at school...right next to me, when outside me and my friends jump off a 4 ft. wall, and he sits there every day...telling me strange things about him. I think I have a what you call a "Dark Soul" yet my friend has forgotten and can't see it.

Has anyone done any research on a mythological creature/folklore creature that sounds like a shrieking cat and has white glowing eyes that comes out at night? I'd imagine it was about 5 ft. tall, but I was so scared that night. I remember flicking open the blinds and they were 'talking' to each other. Making this cat-like noise. Every hair on my body seemed to be at end and I freaked out, ran into the closet. Then, it seemed like it was either under the house or in the closet; it was LOUD. Split my hand open on the closet door as I ranto the living room and pulled out a bible. Started reading it out loud and then went to sleep with all of the lights on in the house. I never read the bible, but dammit, it was scary. My body was actually shaking in fear. The second occurrence, I froze again. There were a lot of strange happenings that I will not discuss. Let's just say it got to the point where friends would come over and not come in. Anyway, I was in the shed behind the house and out of curiousity, happened to look out of the peep hole that the previous tenants had put in. This thing looked like it came out of the ground. Once again, seemed to morph into a black human like shape with white glowing eyes. Literally, for the longest time I thought it was someone screwing with me. Like, putting white LEDs up to their eyes to freak me out. Anyway, it "morphed" and my body seemed to shut down. I couldn't move even though I knew I couldn't be seen. Then, I freaked out, swung the door open and ran into the backyard to confront it or at least find out what it was. Nothing was there. Hell, might as well ask you all. Talk about this outside of forums makes you look retarded/crazy. Thought melaybe someone might have ran across a reasonable explanation to my hellish experiences. At least I can sleep, now. No weird things happening here in the city. I will NEVER live in the country again. I work with the mental aftermath on a daily basis.

last year i was at y fathers and saw a huge black dog sitting growling outside my neighbours house.It was at least the size of a calf with black fur and a really unpleasant smell. the neighbour died the next day. ever since then i carry salt ... just in case

I think this happened when I was in the sixth grade. I was out walking my dog in the yard of my house. I hadn't been wearing my glasses at the time so when I looked across the street I couldn't really believe what I saw. My dog was just doing what dogs do, not even acknowledging what was across the street on my neighbor's lawn.
There was a shadowy dog-looking thing sitting under the neighbor's tree. I kept staring at it, not daring to let my eyes stray from it. Eventually, I brought my dog in and I got my glasses on. I walked back outside and the strange dog had vanished. Not a trace of him/her. I was dumbstruck. I told my mom what had happened and she said it was probably just a coyote or something since we have a few in our area. I accepted that it was probably just that, but in the back of my head I felt uneasy about the whole thing. My dog hadn't reacted to the thing at all which is odd considering that he notices whenever something (dog, cat, bird, human, etc.) is around. Sometime later we had a really bad storm and the tree the odd dog(?) had been by had to get cut down. Was it really a Hell Hound? Was it detecting the death of the tree later on or something? How come I seemed to be the only one that saw it? I haven't seen it since, but I'd really like to know why I saw it.

A few nights ago I had an eerie feeling about a particular room in my house. I'd never felt it before. I stayed up half the night unable to stop staring down the hallway, even in nearly complete darkness. The next day, I'd received news that a hellhound curse had been placed upon me and won't be removed until i fulfill the curser's wishes..is there a way i can reverse the curse on me?

For the guy with the curse. You can take it and die or maybe go down fighting and grab a gun or cross or holy way to kill it. Best of luck. Another thing is that they say that your not gonna expect it so dont drive a car for a while. Hope i help you and good luck. If you look in the hell hounds eyes three times then you die. Unless you looked him in the eye three times then you should be just fine

So they hunt lost souls. Is this only applicable to humans though? So essentially, have they been known to hunt animals or are there any tales where they have also tracked down mythological creatures? It may be a rhetorical question but some clarification would be great....

I was outside letting my dog out and at the house across the street there dog was in a shadow, except it didn't look like their dog it looked huge. It's fur was pitch black and had individual secluded white hairs I was hoping it wouldn't see me then it walked out of the shadow of the tree. It seemed to shrink and it's fur turned yellow, also before it almost seemed as though it had yellow eyes

they patrol the labyrinths of hell armed with spears, stand on their back legs and walk upright. grey in colour and have grey eyes that are void of emotion, think of a long nose german shepard except the hell hound curls their lips back to reveal long teeth dripping with saliva.
