I am just a normal teenage girl that was trying to finish my project late at night then needed more supplies to finish them. So I went to walmart with my sister, on our way back home a block away. We saw a creature standing still in the middle of the road. I thought it was a dog but when we look closer at the creature. It was standing still on four big paws and turn its head slowly and look at us. When I saw its head, it had a human head. I freaked out and scream. I ask if my sister saw the same thing, she turned pale and couldnt even speak. I look at her legs and they were shaking while her right leg was on the break. I look at it again it has no fear in its eyes and it has some kind of head gear. I finally force my sister to step on the gas and drive around it and away. Long story short, I saw Egyptians scuptures on the history channel, the scupture of a human head on an animal body reminds me of what I saw. I know this sounds crazy but I think Egyptians build and made statues of creatures to let us know that those creatures exist. Maybe they have some kind of super natural powers to survied after thousands of years. I really don't know.

I've found out some more information for you; So, I've found out that there where 3 major battles between the Gods; Ra and Apophis, Heru-Bekhutet and Set and Horus and Set. These three battles all have something in common: Good vs Evil. During these battles, if one God was seriously injured, Thoth would heal them to prevent either from overtaking the other. Also, Thoth was involved in "The Osiris Myth" (I don't know what it is but I'll try and find out...). Apparently, something happened to Osiris and he was blown appart. Isis gathered together Osiris' body parts and Thoth gave her the words to resurect him so she could be "impregnated" and give birth to Horus. When Horus was murdered, Thoth gave the magic to resurect him aswell. Thoth, suposidly, spoke the words to create the heaven and the earth. "The Osiris Myth": Set was jelous of Osiris' position as King and plotted to murder him. During a party, Set presented a golden sarcophagus and said that he would give it to whoever could fit inside. All though many tried, no one would fit in. Osiris, thinking this was part of the fun of the party, tried to fit and did. As soon as Osiris was in the sarcophagus, the lid was closed, locked, sealed with lead and thrown into the Nile river. Isis, desperate that Osiris have a proper burial so he could pass into the afterlife safely, searched for the sarcophagus. She later found out that it had floated down stream and got lodged inside the trunk of a cedar tree on the coast of Byblos (now known as Lebanon). Then she discovered that the tree had been taken and used as a pillar in the palace of the King of Byblos. While she traveled back, she left the sarcophagus in a marsh land. Set, while hunting, came across the "coffin" and dismembered Osiris' body into 14 pieces and hid them all over Egypt. Isis began to search with them, with the help of Set's sister-wife Nephthys. The Ancient Egyptians believed that The Demon Days where the last 5 days of the year, when 5 Gods/Godesses where born.
Ra, the sun God, heard a prophecy about a son of Geb, the earth God, and Nut, the sky Godess, that he would overthrow him and take his place as king. Desperately, Nut confrunted Khonsu, the moon God, and won 5 days of moonlight from him. Back then, there was only 360 days in a year. Nut placed those 5 days at the end of the year (making our normal year of 365 days) and had each of her children on 1 of those 5 days. When Ra learned what she had done, he was urious and banished Geb to the earth and Nut to the sky, never to see eachother again. The Egyptians called them The Demon Days as they did not belong and made the God/Godess born on that day stronger, as with all Gods/Godesses. Hope this helped! ^^ ~Lara x |
