Dhampyrs are the offspring of a vampire and a human, the gender not withstanding. Dhampyrs have the strength and stamina from humans and the heightened senses and better reflexes from vampires. Because of the fact that dhampyrs take the best factors from both sides, they make ideal bodyguards. They are the vampire equivalent of Nephilim. Dhampyrs are not restricted by sunlight but can be injured by things other than wood.


The Dhamphyr are indeed half-vampires. They share some weakness and often display the same traits a vampire does. Rare is it that a Dhampyr is unaware of what they are. They are sometimes born either from an experience before birth that give signs of vampirism such as being born after the plecenta has exited the mother or perhaps through a gene that is hidden in the family and is activated by the consumption of blood or through adolesence. Depending on the level of vampire, the father or ancestor was will determine the level of strength and traits that are revealed. Some traits that will show will be their strength, stamina, and red tint in the eyes when enraged. They often are bullied in life and are shown much unkindness due to the primal feelings that humans exhibit when in danger. Dhampyrs later become either good humans or good vampires. When engaged in sexual intercourse, they are often bitting onto their lover always more than likely to break the skin. Dhampyrs often drink their own blood or other's if allowed to. They drink blood to sustain themselves otherwise they would be slothish and more human-like.
