Chenoo are stone giants from Iroquois tribes folklore (North America).
The giants are said to fight amongst themselves with uprooted trees and large boulders, never knives, arrows, or spears. They are scared of humans and will camouflage themselves with such total immobility that they blend into the surrounding landscape.
There have been tales where shamans have forced such creatures to obey them.

the chenoo are actually algonquin (mi'kmaq and abernakie) they are not stone giants, they are wendigo like giants with icy hearts, like furry cannibals, please check your source next time
