A very large, hairy, humanoid creature from North American folklore reputed to inhabit wilderness areas of the U.S. and Canada, esp. the Pacific Northwest. Also, known as Big Foot, Sasquatch,The Abominable Snowman, or Yeti. Yeti
The Abominable Snowman, or Metch-Kangmi in Tibetan, is a huge, hairy creature that walks upright and haunts the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. For years explorers have reported footprints measuring as much as 12½ by 6½ inches in the snow.
While leading an expedition on Mt. Annapurna in 1970, Don Whillans spotted a large, furry creature walking on two legs on a nearby mountain. He watched through binoculars for half an hour before the "snowman" vanished in a clump of trees.
Scientists believe bears, which can walk on two legs, could have left some of the footprints. Other observers suggest wolves, goats, snow leopards, or perhaps falling rocks or snow could be responsible. However, the Sherpa people of the region have traditionally believed that the Himalayan peaks are haunted by demons and spirits, while the Yeti, an ancient beast, prowls the mountains.
Yeren
Variously referred to as the Yiren, Yeh Ren, Chinese Wildman, "The Wildman of Shennongjia", Man-Monkey or "Man Bear" is said to be an as yet undiscovered hominid in China's remote mountainous and forested Hubei province.[1]

Many people think that there is a species and that the Yeti, Bigfoot, Yeren, Yowie, etc, are all related somehow and that when all the continents were together they traveled to different places and adapted very quickly. This theory has not been proven yet but many people believe it to be true.

to walk away slowly except one he was the smallest but looked the smartest and oldest he looked at me like started into my eyes it seemed like he was trying to say something maybe even apologize or warn me ill never truly know all i know is he turned and walked away but looked like two of the youngest ones they lunged at me and more rock landed next to me and the biggest one the last one landed close to eight feet about forty five degrees north east of me it was big close to fifty pounds away from me all the wolves bolted away then and out of shear willpower i turned to see what had saved me to see nothing i looked around couldn't see anything i turned to grab my filled jugs of water when i heard rocks fall i turned around as fast as i could and at the top of the mountain well that hill of it their stood what at first i thought was a man but it was to tall and bulky and it was slightly hunched its eyes were a little bit larger then a mans eyes but they seemed to see alot more i felt like he or she was looking at me with a caring gaze i didn't feel any danger more longing honestly its build looked as if it could wrestle with bears i couldn't make much detail of it but its eyes seemed to have lite from the inside and it seemed smart then it turned and walked away diapering into the woods i wanted to follow it but my dad called my name and i ran back to him he was mad at me as usual but Ive always wondered was that Bigfoot or was it just one of my many guardians?

I'm 18 about 4 to 6 years ago i was visiting my dad in Arlington WA my aunt and uncle as well as cousins live there out in a remote part on the outskirts they have and entire mountain to them selves their closest neighbors are miles away their drive way will literally kill u if your not careful well they have wolves bears and cougars up there as well as deer and other food sources there's a rives near by of plenty of food out there they had alot of dogs and chickens but the house was in a huge open space away from the forest so nothing really ever bothers them but my dad his trailer was up in the middle of the drive way the drive way is so deadly because the sides are steep and loose and there's always water running down the mountain my dad and i always stay up late and his trailer doesn't have running water so we use empty milk jugs well we need more water and he told me to go to the little spring across the road and fill up a few jugs so he could filter it and we'd have water for the morning so try-en to make my dad happy and proud of me as i always have i didn't think of the wild life and the wolves were out that night i ran over there fast and loud not thinking as i said and started filling the milk jugs and then my bodies warning symptoms started actin funny and i was covered in a cold sweat i didn't know what this bodily reaction was it was different everything was slower and i could see strange light and color pigments i felt so much stronger faster bigger i felt in a sense invincible and then i sensed and herd the wolves the surrounded me i panicked i didn't know what to do thousand of things running through my mind i couldn't move i thought i was going to die ... i honestly thought i was going to die and then out of no where a rock maybe 20lbs you know a descent sized rock flew and landed with a loud thud not 2 feet in front of me i jumped and so did the wolves they all started
