In Norwegian folklore there are tales of the Bergkongen.Bergkonge. If translated, the name means ''Mountain King''. He is known to seduce women who travel alone in the forest and bring them with him into the mountain. These women are never heard from again. The Mountain King is described as a handsome man covered in a cape made of leaves with nothing under it but sometimes can become a creature.
