Dimensions; Many people disapear to where? and why?

A few years ago, even though it was known, dimensions was not talked about, only as a subject here and there, a "did you hear about this so and so who disapear infront of his family and friends while walking towards them, and poof, he was gone, like one of those disapearing acts done by magic on stage" I , myself, did not hear things like that until recently, when people are disapearing all over the place, it's mention more now, on tv. too...this man who disapear infront of his family and friends, was a father, his kids started to call out for him and they heard a far away voice, but they could not understand what he was saying but the freaky thing is that to them it sounded like he was over their heads. What do you think?

probably a lie, an illusion created by that man but there is a possibility that ways to other dimensions exist but then again im not a physicist so idk lol
