I have been curious about changelings lately and need some info about them to write a book I've been working on. So far all I know is that they can be either:

Sickly or dying fae that are switched with human children or a piece of wood that has been glamoured to look like a child.
Signs of being a changeling include, having an unusual appetite, eating a lot, blond hair, being unusually smart for their age (not like with school work but in other ways) Often are extremly good when playing instruments.
Different ways to protect a child from being taken are: hang iron over their crib; make them wear their coat inside out.

If anyone has any more information it would be most helpful.

changleing are people who have had their body takken over, it is beileived to occur mostly in children but has been known to happen in anyone, what often occurs is not a complete take over of the body but rather a part time take over. for example three souls resting in a single body an adult a child and a teen. when one soul takes over it brings along a stronger sense of whatever it is skilled at, a child soul taking over would often shy, and ask more questions. a teen would bring uncertainty but a faster learning curve, an adult would be more calmer. a changling doesn't always lose their original soul and it is possible to retrive it, but the popular beleif of changlings is alliens or evil spirits though it more often occurs of free will to help house another soul in a persons body.

now what can you tell me about the creatures of the forest, anything would be helpful.
